Who we are
This website belongs to VIMCO Engineering LLP, Pune, Maharashtra, India. In this policy "we", "us" and "VIMCO" mean VIMCO Engineering LLP. You can reach us at solutions@vimcoengg.com or +91 8956819252.
What we collect
We collect information only when you send us an enquiry through a form on this site:
- your name, company, phone number and email address
- your message, the equipment or service you are interested in, and the page you sent it from
- the date and time of the enquiry and your IP address, which we use to prevent spam and abuse
The calculators and selectors work inside your browser. The numbers you type into them are not sent to us unless you include them in an enquiry.
Why we use it
- to reply to your enquiry and prepare a recommendation, quotation or service visit
- to keep records of our business dealings
- to protect the site and our email from spam and misuse
We rely on your consent, which you give by sending the form. You can withdraw it at any time by contacting us.
Who sees it
- VIMCO staff who handle enquiries. Enquiries are emailed to our team at disha@vimcoengg.com.
- Our email and web hosting providers, who store and deliver the messages on our behalf.
- Google, through reCAPTCHA on the enquiry forms and Google Fonts on every page (see below).
- Where your enquiry needs a quotation or technical answer from an equipment manufacturer we work with, we may share the relevant details with them.
We do not sell your information.
Cookies and third-party services
This website does not use advertising cookies. With your permission it uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages and tools are used. We ask first, with a notice at the bottom of the page. Three Google services are used:
- reCAPTCHA protects the enquiry forms from spam. It checks how your browser behaves, may set a cookie, and sends information such as your IP address to Google. Google's privacy policy and terms apply.
- Google Analytics (only if you click Accept) sets cookies and sends your IP address and details of the pages you visit to Google, so that we can see how many people use the site and which pages and tools are useful. It is not used for advertising. If you click Decline, or ignore the notice, it is not loaded. You can change your choice at any time: reset my cookie choice. See Google's explanation of how it uses data.
- Google Fonts loads the typefaces used on the site. Your browser requests them from Google's servers, which sends your IP address to Google.
Where you accept analytics, the information is processed by Google on our behalf and is used only to understand and improve this website.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records for as long as we need them to respond and to maintain our business records. We delete them when they are no longer needed.
Your rights
You may ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you may withdraw your consent. Write to solutions@vimcoengg.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may also complain to us first about how your data is handled, and we will address it.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information you send us. No method of sending data over the internet is completely secure, so please do not put sensitive personal or financial details in an enquiry.
Children
This website is for businesses and is not aimed at children.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
