YunikAir · Air treatment
Refrigerated compressed air dryers
Take the water out of your compressed air before it reaches your tools, valves and product. Four series cover standard plant air and high pressure duty. VIMCO engineers size the right one for your plant.

Size a dryer to your site conditions
Enter your compressor flow and site conditions. We apply YunikAir's correction factors and list the models that fit. No prices. Our team confirms the final selection.
Dryer ratings assume reference conditions. Hot air, hot rooms and low pressure all reduce what a dryer can handle, so we size with correction factors.
Choose a series
Same job, different heat exchanger
The series differ mainly in the heat exchanger. Select one to see what suits it.

How it works
Cool the air, catch the water, warm the air back up
Moisture condenses when air is cooled. The dryer cools it close to +3 °C, drains the water, then reheats the air so pipes stay dry.
- Pre-coolIncoming hot air gives up heat to the outgoing cold air.
- ChillThe refrigerant circuit cools the air to near +3 °C and water condenses.
- Separate and drainA separator collects the liquid. An automatic drain removes it without losing air.
- ReheatThe cold dry air warms against the incoming air, so outgoing pipes do not sweat.

How much water will your air carry?
See the condensate a dryer must remove for your compressor, and why the drain matters.
Condensate load estimate
Water that leaves the air as it is cooled from intake humidity to a +3 °C pressure dew point.
Assumes all intake moisture is compressed and cooled to +3 °C at line pressure. Indicative only.
Sizing
A dryer's rating is not your plant's flow
Capacity changes with inlet temperature, ambient temperature and pressure. We size with correction factors, not catalogue flow alone.

What goes with a dryer
A dryer works best with the right equipment before and after it.

Air filters
A pre-filter protects the dryer. An after-filter polishes the air.

Automatic drain valves
Remove condensate without losing compressed air.

Heatless desiccant dryer
For dew points below what a refrigerated dryer reaches.

Air receiver
Sized by us. A wet receiver before the dryer steadies flow into it.
After the sale
Installed, commissioned and serviced by VIMCO
One team from the first site visit to the annual service.
Installation
Positioning, piping, drain and electrical hook-up, and commissioning against your dew point target.
Preventive service
Refrigerant and condenser checks, drain and controller checks, filter element changes.
Spares and repair
Controllers, valves, fans and refrigerant circuit work, handled locally.
